We believe that recent and near-future developments in cloud, satellite, and mobile-broadband connectivity bring with them the potential to solve some of the most pressing issues that have constrained access to the world wide web for individuals living and/or working in remote areas.
Through our work with the SATCOM-BLUE initiative, we hope to discover solutions that are both practical and affordable.

Meet Alex
Alex Stein founded SATCOM-BLUE’s parent company, Bluetec, shortly after departing from the US Army in 2019. During his tenure with the military Alex served as an Officer specializing in Signal and Cyber Operations. Additionally, Alex has worked varying roles within the private technology sector for well over a decade.
Alex is extremely passionate about communication technology and firmly believes that open access to the internet can and WILL make the world a better, more educated place.
